Council Leadership
Step 1: Initiation - Notice to Funding Committee for concept approval
Step 2: Funding Committee to conduct Initial Review and research opportunity; track status of opportunity
Step 3: Funding Committee makes recommendation to full Council; Full Council Approval
Step 4: Health Council polls member organizations affected by potential funding to determine interest; Funding Committee works with interested members to determine feasibility to pursue; Health Council designates pursuit lead and team.
Step 5: Full Council endorsement; Referral to the Dukes County Commission for approval or if less than $10,000, to County Manager
Step 6: Pursuit team coordinates with member organizations to develop and assign resources to complete the application.
Step 7: Final application reviewed and approved by County Manager prior to submission.
Step 8: Interim and Final Grant Reports, if required by the granting agency, reviewed by the County Treasurer and approved by the County Manager prior to submission

Step 1: Initiation - Member notification to Funding Committee
Step 2: Funding Committee reviews support request; makes recommendation to Health Council; and determines appropriate level of effort
Step 3: As needed Health Council assigns resources to provide approved support
