All towns in Dukes County, with the exception of Oak Bluffs, joined an inter-municipal agreement for pooling of the Opioid Abatement Funds made available through the settlements negotiated by the federal and state governments. 

 Each Board of Health appointed its representatives to an Advisory Board, which will make decisions on how to spend these funds within the requirements of the settlement agreement and guidelines that have been developed for that purpose. The Board usually meets on 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 10am. Meetings and agendas are posted on the County calendar in compliance with the MA Open Meeting Law.
