Prescription Assistance Programs
Patient Assistance Programs are available through prescription drug companies and web-based services that have information about free and low-cost medications for people who have no prescription coverage and/or cannot afford their medications. Applications can be downloaded, as well as related resources. Usually, the patient and the doctor fill out applications and send them together with a prescription. Sometimes income information and other documentation is required. Access Program staff can help with the paperwork.
