Sarah Kuh
Health Access Specialist
Sarah, together with the Dukes County Health Council, created the Vineyard Health Care Access Program (now Dukes County Health Care Access) in 1999. She is now a part-time Health Access Specialist and a Certified Navigator for the Massachusetts Health Connector. She provides Spanish, Portuguese and English-speaking Islanders with application and enrollment services for MassHealth and Health Connector programs. She continues to champion oral health services for people of all ages who lack access to affordable dental care.

Maria Mouzinho
Health Access Specialist
Maria started working at the Access Program in 2002 and has been here ever since! As a longstanding, bi-lingual, bi-cultural Health Access Specialist, she has become renowned for compassionately and confidentially supporting the health care access needs of the Brazilian-Portuguese community. Maria is a certified Navigator, and the only bilingual SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Elders) counselor on the Island to provide assistance with Medicare related enrollments for Brazilian elders. We are grateful for her enduring commitment to serving clients of all ages, as she has now supported island families for generations.

Brianna Bertoni
Health Access Specialist
Brianna joined the Health Care Access team in 2024 and became a Certified Navigator for the Massachusetts Health Connector in 2025. She is a bilingual (Portuguese-speaking) M.V.R.H.S. graduate who has supported many island companies as well as started some of her own! She brings compassion and enthusiasm to client services and community outreach for the Access Program.

Karol Sena
Health Access Specialist
Karol joined the Access Program and became a certified Navigator in 2024. She is a bilingual (Portuguese-speaking) M.V.R.H.S. graduate who has dedicated herself to public service and is well respected throughout the island community. Her experience as a medical assistant and translator, supporting diverse clients to determine their eligibility for and enroll in MassHealth and Health Connector plans, will be an asset to the island-wide residents under 65 that she will serve as a Health Access Specialist.

Nikole Rolston
Health Access Specialist
Nikole has worked at the Access Program since 2020 and became a Certified Navigator in 2024. She has experience providing education and information for the Massachusetts affordable insurance system, and provides application and enrollment services for MassHealth and Health Connector plans as a Health Access Specialist.
Nikole is also a Certified SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone) counselor and provides Medicare assistance and enrollment to the Island’s growing 65+ population.

Rocy Turner
Health Access Specialist/SHINE
Rocy joined Health Care Access in 2019, and she became the program’s Assistant Director in 2024. She is certified as a Navigator through the Massachusetts Health Connector, and assists community members with Massachusetts affordable insurance plans. Rocy is the Access Program’s Lead Navigator and oversees staff compliance with program requirements. She is also a certified SHINE counselor and provides counseling and information related to Medicare benefits. She assists with applications, enrollments, plan selection and solving problems for those under 65, new to Medicare and over 65. Rocy is a highly skilled and experienced professional.

Ronelle Couture
Administrative Assistant
Ronelle is a highly qualified administrative professional who started supporting the Health Care Access team in 2023 and is now the permanent front desk manager. She greets the public, helps with general inquiries, schedules appointments, keeps the office organized and assists program staff with clerical support. Ronelle is an Islander who many will recognize as a long-standing tax preparer in the community.
